Oh, if you're just bashing, then it might be OK. Is your radio a 3 channel system? And if so, does it have channel mixing? It might be a bit of a pain to set it up, but once done, you'll be all set. You might not even have to do the channel mixing thing if you find the motors do spin at the same speed - it's just an option if they don't.

I'm not familiar with Clods (but I'm sure someone here is). What's the gear ratio from the motor to the wheels? If it's not high enough, that thing is gonna fly, even with the Mamba Max 4600 motor (that's 4600 rpm per volt). Also, do you plan to use 7 cells for each ESC? If not, the current drain may be a bit high for one pack on two brushless systems.

If you just want a better ESC, the Mamba Max ESC can power brushed motors (which you already have) as well as brushless motors. The advantage to this ESC in any mode is the extreme amount of programmability, lipo cutoff, and the ability to use up to 14 cells (or 4s lipo).

I'd wait to see what others here say about this before you decide either way...
