Here's my resolution:
" Screw/ball style waaaaay tougher than ball studs".
I tell you the truth, I've never liked the idea of the ball studs since the trunbuckle is held from one place only, but when you use a long screw with steel ball and scure them with a nut from the other side nothing will break them.
For me, only Tamiya was able to make the ballstud thing acceptable. Most of their old highend buggies used the screw/ball to hold the turn buckles, but I dont know why they've preferred the ball studs nowadays.
