Feigao -

Will the feigao 9xl motor bring me to 50 with a quark125 and 4800 orions, or what speed should i expect. If these motors can actually do these speeds why are they so much cheaper than the lenhar(dont know how to spell) or neu motors.

well i don't think that a 4s lipo setup with a 9xl would hit 50, you would need something similar to a 7xl. I have a 9xl and Quark 125B and am hoping to hit 50 with a 5s or 6s setup.
the Feigao motors are 2 pole, and are made in China, average build quality ect.....
Lehner(LMT) motors are also 2 pole, hand made in Germany, have better magnets ect........
Neu motors are 4 pole, better quality, made right here in the USA ect........
Anyone feel free to correct me on this...........
Bye

what should i be expected to hit like 40-43. SO even thought these motors are fairly cheap they are decent quality. also what kind of cooling do you use. a motor heat sink and a esc fan or what combination of heatsink of fans, also with you cooling setup what temps are you runing

The Feigaos are very nice, especially for the price, but you can't beat a Neu or Lehner...If geared correctly, and, of course, given that you choose the appropriate motor, you shouldn't need any fans or whatnot, but I run a RCM heatsink on my 10XL. More because of the endbell poping off than because of heat...
By the way, I moved it to BL. Just because your name is GorillaMaxx360 doesn't mean you need to put all your threads in the Gorillamaxx section :p. Actually I moved your last 3...

Depending on how light your truck is, you may need to drop a turn to get teh speeds you want. My 5kg BL Revo w/ an 8xl does low 40s on 15 cells, and runs 48 on 5s lipos. I'd get an 8xl to be safe.

Hitting 50 with a 9xl would be hard IMO. I ran 5s on mine, it for surely was at mid 40's or low 40's. That's geared 16/51. You don't want much higher than that IMO, you'll be cookin the motor on 5s. To hit 50's, I would go 8xl, but on 5s Lipo, I would think this would be getting a tad warm, not to mention your Quark will most definately be warm.

Ah I see. 6s with 9xl should hit 50 or more.

Mike has 7,8,9XLs.
i don't think there is anyway to get a MT to 50 mph on 14 cells and be a reliable setup. Maybe if you had a super light truck, but for the avg 10lb'er, no.
A 7xl should get you in the ~lower mid 40s tho, and will be quite fast and very TQ'y. To go anymore than that you will need more cells.

If you go 8xl on 14 cells and gear it up, you can hit 40's as finnster said, anything faster would require more cells or lipo if room is an issue.
Batteries determine a lot with BL, the better the batt, the faster you go. Of course, it also depends on motor. But if you have crappy batts, then the rest is worthless. That's like running water in your gas tank with nitro.
