E-maxx motor? - 11.16.2006, 07:05 PM

have done some reading and looking at a 8xl for the truck also thinking 10L, going to run 4s li-po and mamba max controller.. used to run a 9L in a maxx and it was pretty decent set-up,looking for decent power and keeping the strain on the controller low.. thanx bros.

I dont know, some people are having some minor problems running big block motor with the MambaMax ( its originally made for 1/10 scale cars), but if you can push the envelop a bit, go for a high quality motor, which is going to make the controller work a bit easier. I say check out the Lehner 1940/8 or the Neu motors. These are the real deal.
