2 things on the r1 controllers.

1) It says that the r1-pro is 5s capable, but the hightest setting for the built in LVC is only 12.5V. They need a 15V setting for it to work with 5s. So for 5s you would still need an external LVC.

2) I talked to tekin about this esc at the ihobby show in chicago last month. A cool feature it has is a built in temperature monitor, Not just to shut it down if it reaches a high limit like most ESCs do. This one actually has the temp monitor dispaly a readout while in use to show how hot the esc is. It shows how hot it is by lighting diferent amounts of LEDs on the front of the esc while its in use. So you can just look through the window and get a good idea of how hot the esc is running. Cool feature IMO. Although without a heatsink, my suspision is it will be running hot most of the time. :002: Not likely this will be a viable 1/8 or MT esc like the MM is working out to be.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
