But i think i understand what you mean - if there is some degree of lock in the front diff the car pulls itself through the corner because we are driving in the dirt. one wheel would spin without traction if there wasnīt some degree of locking...

Exactly what I mean. Sorry about the bad comparison! LOL, but you get my point. And Daf hada good point, you may want to experiment to see what you like....

I ran a locker in off road truck. :D
To thick of oil in rear make the two back tires want to turn at same speed.
If the inside don't turn slower it will push the front bad under power.
More weight on rear. I agree totally on trial and error. The same thing for
one person won't work for another. The smoother surface will be better with less weight oil.
