ive been trying to find examples of converted revos for a few days now. i saw a vid and it was awsome. do you mind showing me some pics of the chassis and what all you did to convert it?

thanks man. yeah i looked at that thread too. and a few others, but nothing that shows how the system was actually set up. and i cant find one that explains very good about using the stock chassis. any ideas?

That's probably because there are many ways the conversion can be done. Some of it depends on what kind/how many/size of batteries used. Or, if you want to use the emaxx tranny or revo tranny. Or, if you want to use a disc brake, etc.

I would think about what you want to use it for (racing, bashing, on-road, etc). Then, figure out what kind of batteries you want to use. Dafni's setup uses a saddle battery arrangement of NiMHs on each side. Mine uses a design where the batteries are all on one side and the motor and other parts on the other for weight balance. And that's just two conversions...
