What is this - 11.24.2006, 11:42 AM

I was looking at castle creations website and i saw this http://www.castlecreations.com/produ...7-channel.html. Is this just a normal fm recever only it is smaller and has more chanels. Is this any good. should it work with any fm radio and do you need to buy the chanel crystals from castle creaton to make it work. It might be helpful to you guys because it has so many channels great for esc 3 servos and a couple of fans. Just an idea tell me what you think.

I'm pretty sure it's 72mhz, so it will only work if you get an airplane radio.

Here, i asked castle about their frequency a half year back, here is their answer;

We will be producing the Castle Creations Bergs in all frequencies. We will be releasing the Berg 7 soon, then we will go back and retune the Bergs 4 and the 7 to all internationally used RC frequencies as well as 50 MHz for the Ham band fliers. I do not have a schedule for when all this will happen, but it will be this year, probably sooner than later. We have three issues everyone here is working on to get this done; production, production and production. We have just increased our production capacity by a factor of 3 to keep up with demand and so we can release new products. Once all the production issues are worked out our engineers can get back to engineering products.

Hmm, the crystals they sell only go to channel 60, and 75mhz FM starts at channel 61.

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
