the revo diffs don't work as far as i know, but haven't tryed it yet. As far as the cvd's the only ones you can use stock are the center CVD's, you need the revo knuckles to use the revo cvd's, you need the Tmaxx cups though

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Do you mean the t maxx 3.3 or the revo 3.3? Im guessing you meant t maxx. Would the Tmaxx 3.3 differentials fit in diff cases meant for original maxx gears (FLM combo bulks)? And if so, would cvds that fit the original maxx fit the new diffs?

The 3.3 stuff is all the same. Whether it be Revo or Maxx. The only difference is the turnbuckles...The 3.3 Maxx diffs haven't changed. The only change is the cases (4 screws instead of 2). I would choose the 3.3 driveline no matter what. CVD's are your option, however there not necessary. If you do want CVD's, you need Revo CVD's with the 3.3 setup...

Oops, I thought the 3.3 used the Revo sealed diffs, and that was why they used teh new cases. Sorry about the stupid questions.

So, has any one tried the revo diffs in the maxx cases? From looking at the exploded views on traxxas' site, the diff cups and gears seem to be similar dimensions. The only problem I can definitely identify right now is that the ring gear side of the revo diff rides on a different size bearing. Where the maxx uses a 10x15, the revo uses a 8x16. This could possibly be fixed with an adapter on the inside of the stock bearing to adapt the 8mm ring gear shaft to the 10mm bearing ID, since I cant find any 8x15 bearings. Another possible problem is the shape of the ring gear itself. It looks like the back side of the ring gear might interfere with the diff housing, since its shaped differently from the maxx ring gear. If this is the case, theres not much we can do to change it. Any thoughts?
