yup, i did draw the bulkheads out... I need the measurements,angles(front skid) of the skids though, because my old ones are bent and broken. :032: CAD is going to have to wait, i get help from the machinist, also my neighbor. :027:

I would rather take the measurements on fresh virgin skids. you dig.

Just to get more of an idea, what is the thickness of the aluminum on the upper brace of the Gmaxx chassis. To me it looks like 6mm thick, does anyone know the width (up and down thickness), it looks to me about 8mm? maybe 10mm?

My chassis, i was thinking about shrinking the thickness though, with 8mm top, and 4mm triangles underneath, the thing would have a breaking strength of theoretically 10,000 lbs :005: :032: :026: :018: :007: hehe

SO I think i can move down to 6mm top and 3mm reinforcing sections... check the pic in doc.
