MGM Compro 80 - 05.16.2005, 11:02 PM

I just got to installing my MGM Compro 80 and Feigao 8s in an old RC10 I had laying around. The thing rips faster than I have ever seen it move.

My only problem is that I can't seem to get into programming mode. I have a 3PK with pcm receiver. Every time I put it at full throttle and turn it on nothing happens. When I let off the throttle it acts as if I had just turned it on and throttle, brake and reverse work like normal. I think the reason why is my receiver but I wanted to get someone else's opinion.

Thanks

You probably aren't staying at full throttle long enough. It takes 10 seconds to enter programming mode, which seems like an eternity. If you don't wait long enough, the controller will wait for neutral and then arm itself.

That was my first thought but I have sat there and timed out 30 sec. and nothing still happened. The only time I can get it to blink and pulse the motor is when I turn it on with the controller off. I have even tried using a receiver pack to no avail.

Yes I did figure it out. I wired the motor backwards. :o
But when I first went to run it forward and reverse worked like normal. So I didn't think much about it. So to program it all I had to do was reverse the throttle to get it to work. Since then I have wired the motor correctly so everything works as it should.

Easy enough mistake to make. I am glad you figured it out.
