What kind of speeds are you going to go for?
Are you going to run big tires to match to truck? I would suggest lipo for weight savings. Motor and esc I would go brushless. Welcome to the forum as well. |

Thanks so far for the posts.
As far as speeds go, I would like to think that stock E-Maxx speeds would be suffice. 27-30mph. The tires will be the Big Joes minimum, and probably either CEN Genesis, or HPI's 7.7 tire, to match more to the scale. I have been on KD's website, alot over the few days off, almost by heart. They are the only 'brushed' motors that I could find, and then lots of brushless, there and here too. I would like to stay away from Lipo, just purely on the amount of driving, oh and $$$ too.
