GO Rusty for many reasons. First it is more durable and with 170 you can get lots of stuff like flm chassis and arm combo. Second you already seem to have a bullet proof chassis in the rusty and not saying the xxxt wont take it but if it could not take it there is no realy replacement you can get like a steel idler. Third there is a lot more stuff on it which means more things can go wrong. For example i have a xxxt and when i would bash it and jump it on to the road(not the best place to land) it would always break the rear lower part of the chassis. Fourth if you do race the xxxt would be better but i would still recommend the rusty in the racing case to. This is why my friend has a stampeed he races at my lhs with about 10 other stadium trucks (like accosiated and losi ones that are all very tuned up but they are a tad bit slower than the pede) when he race a lot if times his front shock caps blow of and then the front end is draging and it is very hard to turn unless you keep it on the throtle. 4 out of 5 races he wins with this car. Do you know why? Because he is good and his car is slightly faster. What i am saying is the car matters but if you can dominate with the car you have you can just about beat anything. For example if i ran an erevo and mike ran a stock maxx he would win because he can drive even though my car would because he is a better driver. Lastly if you decide to race and you are good at (it this is the best part) and you can beat those guys that have spent over a grand in there cars trying to get them up to National Racer specs that makes them mad. I have one guy at our thrack that has a MFT2 and a LRP with 16 turn speedo and spektrum and a fail safe and matched battery packs and my friend still beates this guy with a stampeed. Stick with the rusty.

MT2 is good but not as good as a basher it would work but it will start to get very loose feeling i have a xxxt and i bash it and the steering is all out of wack and i break a lot of things it will work but the rusty will be more solid i think.

Lots of good to say about the MF2, just not for bashing! That's all.
