thanks again cool. There's foam in the back, and slight interference of the bottom plate to the pack which pretty much sandwhiches it in. I guess for thinner packs you could put foam rubber strips on the plate as need to get your squeeze. Well, works perfect for me so far and this truck is no shelf queen.

Since the recent comments I have added a warning label requiring outdoor use only, for adult use only. That should cover me.
