If you drive like you have plastic driveshafts (don't land on power, pull the trigger a little slower) and have a fairly light truck with lighter tires/wheels, the stock parts will actually hold up for a while. They will eventually wear out/twist, though. I have gotten almost a year with stock sliders and brushless power by taking it a little easy. CVDS are the way to go, though!
