my ?s are as follows: :032:

* does this pack just split in half? it looks like its held together with 4 screws

*if one were to to have good general knowledge and skill is it fairly simple to make your own packs

*what configuration would 2s2p yeild, voltage, capacity, im looking to run an hv maxx 4.5 in a revo, 4s maybe?

Thanks for your help, im just trying to mount my motor and speed control, and need to focus on some power for this thing, thanks again.

1) Here's a good tutorial that shows you how to disassemble Dewalt packs:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=587606

2) Depends on how the pack will be configured.

3) These cells are 3.3v 2300mah nominal and are rated at about 70amps discharge continuously. 2s2p would be 6.6v 4600mah nominal, and 140amps continuous discharge. The packs come with 10 cells, so you could do two 2s2p (to make 4s2p), and then have two cells left over.
