They are all the same chassis, so pick your color and material! I have one of each and I like them all just about the same. The CF is a little ligthter, but I prefer the aluminum lower plate. The limited editions I would use for a show truck, myself, but some folks run them hard, too!

what parts did you use for the rest of your truck?

Have you seen the single speed conversion as well? you want to make a lightweight racer or more of a basher?

i like my CF ext. g-maxx. it is very strong, enough to hold up to 8 foot jumps with 16 cells.

Never sure on carbon fibre, unlike Alloy, it snaps and doesn't bend in a crash, which can be alot more costly than if you were to crash an Alloy one.

For the limited edition, your only paying more for the colour! :D

Carbon Fibre for racing. Lighter, better performance. Alloy' is for bashing, stronger over jumps and abuse.

Amen.. And if you ever brake a CF lowerplate, you can get an aluminum replacement.

I know supermaxx4190 beats the crap out of his CF gmaxx chassis and I can vouch that this chassis is stronger than they make it look. He has only one race on it but with a 10+ lbs truck that can put a beating on a chassis. He had a limited edition racebomb that just kept breaking the bottom lexan plate and he hasn't broken anything on his CF gmaxx chassis. His is also extended.
