with the quark there is really no cogging even if i hold the truck with my foot the wheels just spin but zero cogging. with the bk there is a little bit of cogging

did you made that battery holder from a solid block?

@nieles - Yea, there is a bit off cogging in the 9920/12020, but it is very minimal, especially with the lehners. It started out as a solid block of nylon. I turned it into a nice home for my lipo:)

@jolly - Both 1940/50 are very powerfull motors, it really depends what you are running, with a heavy truggy i chose a 1950 since it is longer and technically has more torque, and i had it second-hand anyway so yeah;) Shorter motors can spool up faster so there is a little trade off, but all in all, im happy.

Jolly - the gearing is 16/44

Cemetary - thanks man! I wish we could run together! Im sure we would be very similar in speed wise. Are you finished the whole conversion apart from the lipo compartment?

If mike has another bash this summer (I hope he will!) we could meet there, if you could make it.

Yes, every thing is done except lipos. I might order them tonight (still undecided on which ones)...

Bye:018:

Looking good Sylvester! that's one large chunck of Nylon on it! I enjoyed converting the LSP's i did.

1940/1950; 1950 has got the same power/torque as a 2230. they are the bomb. 1940 is plenty for an MT/truggy

Thanks Rene! Large chunk, but amazingly light! (only 43 grams). Are you doing any more LSP's, Rene? I didnt know that the 1950 had the power of a 2230? Isnt the rotor bigger on the 2230? Or is it because the 2230 is a bit shorter than the 1950?
