Would this BL setup work for the Micro-T? - 02.23.2007, 01:36 AM

Going to get a brushless setup for the little one and was wondering if this setup is ok?

Here is the controller.

Here is the motor.

I will be using a Maxamps 2s 160mah.
Thanks.

That motor should work. Not sure about the ESC. Sorry. Take a look at this brushless Micro-t though. You may get some ideas from it.

I think the controller will have problems when it comes to braking. Much like other plane ESC's.

Its something to do with how planes don't have proportional brakes. I'm not 100% sure on all of it, but I have heard of a few people overcoming the issue with there radios, but not completely. I would personally just got for a Quark 22 or a Mamba 25.

If it doesn't, you can just get a bug body, which will allow more room for teh elctronics, or you can just raise the body higher.

One guy on another forum was able to use the CC Phoenix 10 ESC with a Feigao motor in his Micro-T. He said the Mamba 25 was too large.

he later in the thread got a mamba 25 to fit after moving the capacitor, it looked like a tekin mini rage in shrinkwrap after he got done

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
