Yeah, I've also thought about the XRay, too.
Thanks, Tallyram.

Hey Dan, BTW, is the radio gear made of carbon fiber or 7075 aluminum?
Did you convert it to brushless, yet?
What setup are you gonna use?

I'm seriously considering either a XB8TQ or a Mugen MBX5-R.

For now, I've decided on the following setup:
- LMT 1940/9
- 8s FlightPower 4900mah packs.
- Mamba Monster Max HV

Unless this setup is a bit too much for the buggy, I cant think of somthing else.

8s is alot in a buggy. I wouldnt put more than 6s, since buggies are usually under 10lbs they should fly with 6s, 8s will be TOO much for it imo.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Nay..I only need an easy to build up project without loads of custom parts.
The 1/8th buggies will surely need some custom parts, but not thaaaaat much.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion, though.

I think an hpi baja 5b buggy would rule the earth. Problem is a motor and batteries to match the 1/5 scale. But we are disregarding price.
