The Quark is quite sturdy in my testing, however, the Wraith motor pulls a lot of amps and is also a little small for a mini inferno. I'd reccomend going for a bigger motor in that setup, since i don't believe the controller is the problem.

I have a mini inferno st and have no heat issues with the following setup:

running a 3 cell lipo and stock pinion.
