No one here is trying to scare you away, we just speak from experience. S can motors (like the mamba max 7700) just do not run well in a truck the size of an e-maxx. What is your gearing too? like 76 spur/ 9 pinion? The thing is that to really run that motor for any length of time you would have to gear down alot to compensate for the small size and high kv.
