LiPO's and Chargers ?? - 04.18.2005, 09:13 AM

Hi,
I would like to switch over to LiPo's, Where would be the best place to buy LiPo's ?

Also where can I get a good charger just for LiPo's ?

Will 2 or 3 cell LiPo pack be about the same size as a 7 cell
GP 3300 battery pack ?

Thanks for your help !!

Terry

if you are just going to be using lipo's your best choice is probably the astroflight 109 charger. as for batteries I run the 4950mah packs threw maxamps.com but have heard great things about the kokam packs. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJSJ1&P=7

http://www.maxamps.com/ i run the 1650mah cells configured 2s3p. They are not rated as high as the kokam packs for discharge but if you are not over geared I dont think you willl have a problem.

I just got a new set of PolyQuest 4400s and they work very well...they are TRUE series packs, unlike my previous e-tecs. I use an Astro 109, it's a very good unit.

nesail.com and rclipos.com are good PolyQuest sources.
