I would ditch the 9Vs. A 2 sec wheelie will drain more power than the fans will the entire run.

Otherwise you could do little stuff here and there. 12 lbs w/ the batts right? Each 7 cell should weigh ~1lb. So really you are ~10lbs, which is not that bad for a normal Maxx w/ a few alu parts.
