130 sized brushless. - 03.15.2007, 08:57 AM

Hey guys. I would like to build a 1:28 scale brushless car but I need help figuring out the kv. I would just like to double check to make sure I have it right.

Well I would like to try one of these in it here are the specs.
Specifications︰
13084xxS(20*30mm size,50g weight)
KV range for 130S:2300KV~7800KV

13084xxL(20*40mm size,60g weight)
KV range for 130L:1420KV~4830KV

Maximu RPM:50000
Ok so the max rpm is 50k, now I need to find some lipos. So-
2300kv
x 11.1v would that be the right way to find the rpm? Please forgive my ignorance. I feel so dumb because I cant even remember how to multiply.

FYI, the 20x40mm can size is the same size as a Mamba motor used in 1/18th scale vehicles. It'll be too big for 1/28th. I think this size will be more suited to what you need:
