Ext. E-Maxx chassis on/off switch mount? - 03.23.2007, 07:07 PM

I'm trying to figure out the "best" way to mount the on/off switch on my new chassis. I want it to be a semi permanant solution as i will eventually be going BL and adding a UBEC. Any description's or pictures of your guys mounts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

DickyT

FLM Ext. E-Maxx chassis. A new one, very new, like 3 days ripped out of the plastic new on a dropship from FLM.

and mocked up with the stock front and rear assemblies

I feel bad not buying it from Mike now that I've found this site, I did order steel idlers from him though, 2 days after I ordered the chassis when google led me here looking for gears.... I'm 3 months returned to the hobby after a 20 year sabaticle, and just now starting to venture to other venues than Traxxas.com

Edit: Nevermind. I wrapped it up in electrical tape and CA'd it to the EVX.

Here is the solution I used. It's only temporary as I will be going BL towards x-mas time, but this should hold me through until then.

I love it. It is much stiffer and far more stable in the air. I also get more predictable launches as well. I also have the combo bulks, shock towers and diffs, so I'm willing to bet it's a combination of all.

Here is all of it together before the first bash session when it was still un scraped :D
My only regret is not knowing about this site when I ordered it. I found this site 2 days later when looking for steel idlers. I would have liked to have given Mike the $$$ on this..... Next time.
