Am I Dumb

i am only 17 and dont have many resources to make my own parts thats why i want to stay away from using the t maxx tranny. It requires more engineering than i think i am capable of and even if i could fabricate something im sure it would not be good enough quality to last in my truck. The pede tranny was easy to mount and i think it has potential. I will however take the t maxx option into consideration because i am going to have plenty of time before the money is there to start spending.
