The Emaxx in the video actually had an R1pro, 4slipo, stock gearing and a 2kv 36mm x 54mm motor, 6pole, 18 wind (slot), 2 turn. A proto we are working on for 1/8 scale.

The R1mt will be a beafed version to handle 30 min mains or continuous running. Honestly the R1pro looked like it was going to handle it, without a heat sink. We blew up the motor before the speedo got close to thermal. Obviously the motor design is not done yet... Might have just had a flaw in this motor. Honestly it looked like overkill although I realize that to monster guys that word does not exist. More turns would make it easier on everything in the long run. It was just a starting point and we always overshoot in the beginning.

Hi Lolo, Welcome to the forum!

no need to appoligies for your English, you are doing a great job.

I don't know what your goal is? what topspeed are you looking for? in other words;

what do you expect of your serpent once you converted it?

Hi SERUM,

I told about your project in my website here

I think your project on 1/8th car is new.

But....a friend of mine has done it (without lipos and with an IMPACT)

See THAT

Thanks Judge!

his conversion looks nice!! i think it will weight a bit more though. I thought about re-designing the lowerplate, but he could make that plate lighter. mine weights less than a nitro serpent (this on in nitro weights 2700 gramms dry (without fuel) (so with fuel about 2800-2850 and this one weights 2500 gramms rtr.

One thing; light is good for speedruns.

I just ran across this thread and I have to say that yours looks much better than the one I did for last years wfrccc. Unfortunately my Schulze fried on me so I didn't go. Next up in smoke was a Quark 125B and it only lasted 5 minutes. The Mamba Max I have on it now has lasted since it came out. This car consistantly makes 100+ mph passes on the Bushnell with the Neu 1512 1D in the picture that I got from Mike, and even before that with the Hacker C40 7L, it was into the 80's on 4S. Trust me when I tell you, there will be no need for any multigear setups to get up to speed. Save that crap for heavy trucks and weak motors. A motor making plenty of power doesn't have to have any "helper gears" before the main gear to have good acceleration.

Welcome to the forum.

Nice ride... 100mph, sweet.

The Neu are nice huh? and the MM too :)

Any coggin issues with your setup... looks like you ahve 5mm or 6mm conns on the motor. I hardwired mine to help get rid of the start up cogging with the MM/Neu combo.
