BK+LMT Glitching/Cogging ???

All 3 wires soldered generously end-to-end, then covered with heat-shrink tubing. The battery wires have a complete deans on the positive and negative.

Oh and the wires are about 4 inches long. That's the maximum BK recommended.

End to end isn't the way to solder them together, unless you are using a tube to do it. Side/side soldering is better. even better is using the female plug of a 4mm plug (make it shorter using a dremel if needed) and solder both ends into that.

I might try that female plug idea. Sounds like less parisitic resistance would be a good thing anyways.

Well I think I may have figured it out. While perusing the RC-Monster store I noticed several of the BK controllers state that they have a 42000 RpM limit with two pole motors, like the LMT. Then I did a little math:

42000 RpM / 5000 RpM/V = 8.4 V

So at 8.4 V the LMT would have already reached the BK's RpM limit. Now more math:

8.4 V / 11.1 V = 0.7567

0.7567 X 100 % = 75.67 %

So at a tad over 3/4 throttle, which happens to be exactly when this problem occurs, the LMT reaches the BK's RpM limit. What's funny is that if I push by to full throttle it runs fine. So the BK controllers can handle more RpM than they say but they'll blow up your gearbox if you try to get there!
