Yeah..
I'd get rid of the 1/2 bad cells.
Looks like he smashed it into dirt.
Blow off the dust, and see what's left.

New updates on the story... I guess it was just the Schumaker esc. Here's the guys thread - http://casterracingusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1499

"But I pretty much lost nearly all of the electrics except the 2 chargers (Which BTW Mike, the hobby store owner wants to buy some for his shop). Motor tempted at 230f, ESC looks like a good BBQ meal, Lipos have some sides slightly melted. The car has some melted parts but overall intack. Some at the track say the lipos may still be good but I don't feel comfortable with a battery that has taken damage already and could be a sitting bomb."

Well now all this is in the wrong place.

I ended up getting heatshrink at cheapbatterypacks.com. My next hobbycity order will have a ton of wire heat shrink too.

ok, Hey Linc think its pretty cool your doing all this, do you know what company makes the hyprion style balance taps, and or where you get them from? I wanna switch some zippys from xh to hyperion to avoid buying an adapter.

I was refering to the white peice only, so i could pull off the old xh connector and replace it with the hyperion style and still use the original wires.

Can't do that, the little pin plugs are different.

I never posted pics of the pack linc just returned to me. It is in pristine condition.

I got some labels made too. Big thanks to Overkill for that! And Thanks Linc! It looks and performs great.

Just took the shrink off a neu pack, 2s 4900 25c, and going by the numbers on the cells they appear to be enerland mfg. It does say made in china, but most of the newer enerland packs I have fooled with recently have that on the cells too...
