I've got a B4 I would be willing to put that in if we all pitch in and make a RC-Monster sponsored world speed record attempt. :D

This thing has atleast a diametre of 55 or 60mm. It is impossible to bolt it in the B4 unless you can use your own skills. Dont forget that you need to fill all the chassis with batteries before you can get it to work right.

I was looking to find some deminsions on it. No luck. I know it is going to be expensive to. 40 cells would make it work. Not sure what truck would take it though. Have to put it on a barbie jeep for the kids to ride. :)

Peace!

That would be nice, but you need to keep a phone number of a hospital ambulance in case Barbie make an accident

You can wire the motor different ways. not sure what this does.

The Lehner motors have two confiurations, two motors in one, if you like. You can use the triangle configuration to get more torque and the usual ones to run faster at lower cell counts. Perhaps this one uses the same system.

Probably. I heard of it just didn't know how you did it. You shed some light on it for me. Thanks. So the motor is versatile. Sweet. I wonder where you would get pinions. It has a 8mm shaft.

It would be a better motor for 1/3 scale cars! Well, maybe 1/5 scale.

I would use it in a 1/5th-1/4th scale cars just like metalman, but not on E-Maxxes and Savages. Its too heavy for the truck's motor mount as well as too big to fit in the chassis.

I'll bet it uses 4-5mm mounting screws. Those wires in the back that switch the winding configuration-they switch between wye and delta. The wye should have more torque and be more efficient.

EDIT:
You can get 8mm pinion gears at http://www.sdp-si.com
I picked out a nice mod0.5, 8mm bore, 20t gear:

I need a golf cart and 6 12v drycell batteries for that motor. hey metalman that pitch is too fine. most 1/8 and mt's use 1.0 metric and a jato uses a 0.8 metric pitch. I may be wrong but i always thought that's what mod 1 was, if not , i apologize

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
