Did you add a heat sink? Other then the heat issue, how does the controller perform?

it got a heat sink it performs well responsive just get the heat issue sorted and it should be good going to put my ubec on later.

i need any more help with keeping esc cool as its got very hot i mean fire my dad had to blast it with a co2 fire exstigirhser that got it cool but my maxx lived and mabery my spectrum receiver and my ace servo served.

Sorry but your best bet is to sell the 7XL and get a new 9XL for $60. Then invest the required $145 in a MMM when they come available again...

$200 (100GBP) will get you a solid setup... else I think you will just wii your money away...

also i need new lipo they are 5000mah 25c i guess i will just put the olde stuff back in my truck and get the monster max combo or maby traxxas release info on a emaxx brushless systerm and not a twin vsx

Can you post a picture of ESC with heatshrink gone?

how much did that cost in damages, if your lipos are dead! hopefully not too much, may have been worth getting the MMM after all, albeit impossible to obtain right this moment!
