MMM and Nomadio Sensor, anyone?

Last night I tried to calibrate my new MMM, no luck with the Nomadio. Tried lots of options, no luck. Fustrated, I grabbed an old Traxxas radio and receiver, tried to calibrate with it, worked fine? Help, I want to use my good radio, not the AM crap. rusty
