First of all, when you call, if you go to "Tech Support," you will get in queue and talk to a real person. We have 3 people full time answering the tech support line. They can answer questions about warranty.
Next, send back your Mamba Monster, but don't worry about a check or money order. Instructions for sending your Mamba Monster back are here:

Just fill out the form, and send it in. You don't have to worry about a receipt, as there are no Mamba Monsters that are out of warranty, and all V1 and V2 Monsters are eligible for free upgrade to V3.
