1900-2200 I would use for 5s. 2200 gets a bit over powered. I ran my 1515 1y (2200 kv nue) on 5s for a bit and found it over powered. 4s seems just right. but that was me, other may love that over powered feeling.

a 60mm medusa 2000 kv or neu 1512 in same range would be ideal motors for the buggy.

For 5s ~1700kv would be about right.

Looks like that Flight Power EVO25 5S battery and Neu 1512 2.5d are something what I am looking for. 4S batteries would be maybe better choise with Neu, or is that 5S too much with Neu ? I want to run with good ( enough ) handling, I don't think that I want overpowered car.

Maybe 4S with Neu ? Or 5S with medusa 60m ? There is alot of choises with batteries, I don't know anything about the Medusa, but I think that its good motor too like Neu.

As I understood NEU's and Medusas most efficent around 40000rpm
Mostly 40mph enough for race.
so 2200@18,5v=40700RPM
Use calculators to find out whitch motor sutes better

He just repeat same question and i believe that he need to figure out how all things work. Check sticky threads and so on. Better to understand that you do than do all that everyone tells. And ofcorse something comes through experince. But we all allready gave some info to start, no rocket science here.

I run my motors closer to 30k rpms - I like the 2200Kv on 4s and around 1700Kv on 5s - plenty of power, yet drivable and good runtimes. The 2200Kv on 5s is tricky on a loose track - impressive as hell...but tricky to be precise. :)

Well I know those calculations and I have done it with almost all my cars. Well this is not my first brushless project, this is my third brushless project with big LiPo packs. I have done one Traxxas E-Revo project and Ofna Jammin CRT Pro project conversations with brushless motors, brushless controllers and LiPos. Im just thinking about that what would be best setup for mugen. Thanks very much for helping me ! I will look some batteries and motors, and I will buy them soon if I find everything what I need.

Well I like specs like you Mike :) . Plenty of power but handling is still important thing.
I did not found Medusa on stock from rc-monster lists, all 70m motors are gone (?) or out of a stock, and 60m motors are almost out of a stock or there is wrong motors for me :D .
But I try to find Medusa motors. 5S with something like 1700Kv would be awesome. I think that there is no matter that do I take Neu or Medusa, they both looks very good quality motors.

Neu 1512 or Medusa 60mm would be ideal, 1515 or 70mm for a torque monster. I have driven buggys with both size motors, with the smaller motor they are lighter and a bit more nimble, with the heavier motor they push a little in cornering, but pulling the wheels to lock and using power to compensate fixes that. that suits my driving style best.

Actualy NEUs are better, and take look on Tekno NEU motors they are closed, less chance to suck dirt inside motor. With original NEU's you need cover holes, same with medusa.
70mm medusas not out yet they should release it in middle of december. 60mm 2200kv medusas come to stock within 2 weeks or so. Take look on medusa homepage too.

This is my plan now:

http://www.impaktrc.com/product_info...oducts_id=3583

http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...=PQXP5s500025c

http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...=5mmmod1pinion

Those parts I have planned to put Mugen. Good parts ? Yeah, I know that those parts make such alot of power but I love it :D .

If those parts make too much speed and handling is not good, I can offcourse take 4S LiPo maybe. I don't drive so much now so I will buy one batteries first, later more batteries if possible.

Plan B batteries:

I will get MMM today.

That is going to be a beast with the 1515 1y on 5s! It will be great for huge open areas and impressive bashing, it will be a bit unruly to turn consistent lap times. It will be fast and fun for certain!
