If you're still looking to buy a new motor, I've got an 80mm Medusa in my Muggy and it does very well. They're very cheap motors (not much more than a Feigao, really) but a ton better. Not as good as a Neu, but close enough and half the price.

Not sure on the kv difference between them but it could be possible that the higher kv with your gearing is pulling more ams than your batteries can supply. Try dropping a tooth or two on your pinion gear
