I havn't tested them yet but was worried that mikes included cups wouldn't be long enough for the swept back arms. Traxxas sells the longer cups for the extended arms.

I'd therefore suggested if using 6mm outputs and the traxxas longer cups. I've yet to measure up though if this is truely required.

Rgds
I bought the extended cups for the extended arms...I also haven't installed them yet...just hoping that they work. As I bought the truck used, I am not sure of the man. of the cvd's

Just compare now the length of the extended cups to mikes to see if you will have an issue...

Yes I had the extended cups, and had the pillow balls all the way in, take a good jump or cart wheel across the yard and the cvds will pull out of the cups.
Some one already broke the mip cvd? Was there a picture? I called last week and they weren't even being shipped yet. Sounds fishy to me.................

Magman - good stuff - going forward the instructions are being included in the kits - Let know how you like them.

I need to build mine tonight - The outercases are so amazingly light!

For kicks, I put the assembled rear diff in the bulkhead..fit like a glove....Installing the compression ring was a bit tricky, but once completed, they spin perfectly.

The only concern I have is that when I tighten the case, you have to be careful because the diff will bind if you snug the case to far....other than that, they are a great upgrade!

Ok...I put together the front end and realized the diff cups that come on the diffs are to short and need to be changed to use the traxxas shafts provided w/the kit. The traxxas cups on the stock diffs, at least mine, are longer so tomorrow I will switch them over and we shall see what happens.

Just so everyone knows, I am using cvd's
