No I just plugged it in now and disabled it. I will try it out tomorrow if the weather permits. I did just order a 54t spur too.

A 2 pole motor will spool up faster then a 4 pole motor iirc. That is one reason people love lehners. The vxl is also a different motor then the Medusa. KV ratings are not 100% accurate. Heck, they're all estimates. No two motors are exactly the same. The vxl could be close to 3600 and the medusa could be 3250...

The VXL is also operating closer to it's peak power. As mentioned before, the Meudsa should be a 3s motor and maybe even 4s in a rustler...

Your medusa would really wake up on 3s, my 4800 on 3s eats my rusty alive.

Yes I do have a 3s pack I run it on. Poly R/C 3s 30c 5000mah Enerland based.

If you want the cars to be equal in speed, you'll have to fine tune it in gearing.
