My guess is that they became unsoldered from the heat.

Yea.. couldve been.....


The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Yes the 2 caps the neg wire and what I believe to be an inductor all came off from the heat. I got the esc about two or three weeks ago from here. The caps are fine a little burned from the fire but the ends are still flat.

He didnt state any yet..... He was probably running a UBEC.

The pack was charged sometime last week. I just cycled it on my Duratrax ICE on a 2A discharge it still had a little over 600mah in it. Its a 1100mah pack.

Ok, hmmm, i dont know if that wouldve caused the problem. But i think you shorted out somthing in there. OR maybe its just a faulty controller.

I personally think When the battery disconnected, the connector must have touched something that conducts eg metal and shorted the circuit, are you running a gorilla/supermaxx chassis?
