hey! thanks for the welcome..!

a vid??!! then you'd see how "great" a driver i am! :005:

perhaps the next time i run this truck...if i can convince one of my buds to hold a camera??!

yes, them towers are the new ones from FLM.

i'm still trying to figure out the right pinion size for the HV.....ran some packs thru using a 16t pinion...ran really hot and the performance was...erm...well...kindda "BLAH"

next i ran a 13t pinion and it was wayyyyy better. acceleration was great and topend was quite good as was keeping up with some of the 1/8 nitros that were at the bash.....bad weather cut that run short tho.

i have my tranny locked into 2nd. and since i cant figure out the "science" of gear ratios......(yes i flunked maths)...i pretty much doing the "try it and see what happens" method of pinion selection..

i'm going to try a few packs thru the 13t pinion again this weekend, and see what happens....

anyone here using the the HV, with 12 cells, tranny locked in 2nd?.....what pinion do you use?.....oh btw the spur size is stock.

My hv liked the lower gearing as well. I ran a 12 72 with big joes on mine. The 14 72 got hot and thermaled out some time. So with your tires and stock gearing should work out good.

yes the shell does really add strong contrast to all that bling upfront!

as of last night, i managed to replace some screwed up rear bearings that gave up on me during the last bash.
wish me luck guys...i intend to take her out to the track again this weekend, who knows..maybe i'll convince one of my buds to be brave enuf to go near enuf to shoot a vid.

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

need your clarification here..... - 04.21.2006, 02:05 PM

hey guys, need your clarification on this part.

it says this slipper kit is for a Tmaxx, but am i right to say that this will work in my emaxx as well??? without having to mod anything????

i'm "iffy" on this coz a nitro using 32pitch just sounds...well, iffy to me....haha.

anyone?

TIA

Yes that will fit and work on an emaxx. I like the strobe much better though.
