new use for an old shell.... - 03.27.2006, 01:06 AM

hey there guys and gals?....

this be my first post.....

firstly, thanks mike!!! for helping me out with my orders etc etc....your services are first rate!!!

well...

i finished putting together my gorilla maxx couple of weeks ago but didnt have a suitable shell to cover it up...

didnt like the idea of the shell sitting above the batts leaving them exposed....whats a guy to do right???....

so i whipped out some scissors and hack'd the crap out of my old txt shell,...here's the finished product....

just gotta tell myself...dont flip it...dont flip it!!! :035:

I like it! A very unique and custom job.
And don't wory about flipping it, your front shock towers and wing in the back should keep that custom flat black body protected.

That is one of the coolest rc's I've ever seen. Instead of bumpers, you could look into some titanium skids that have a lip on them, for example these: http://www.greatassemblyrc.com/Titanium_Skid_Plates.cfm . They're expensive, but will last forever! Some other companies make skids like these, but the greatassemblyrc ones are the best.
