Ok. I ran the truck for the first time this weekend on 4s. I actually had a blast with it. At 12.3 pounds it's not a speed demon on 4s but very torquey. It will do rolling wheelies with no effort. I ran for 35 minutes on 3800 packs and still didn't reach the LiPo cutoff. I have a feeling it's under geared. I'm running 17/49. The motor was barely warm.

My buddy has the same 1518 in his E-MAXX and was running 6s. Holy crap was that out of control. I can clearly see the difference.

My 1717 arrived yesterday so I'll play with that once I buy some 3s packs.

these batteries should really get your truck moving with a 1518. they are cheap and are very good batteries. i have over a dozen turnigy packs and they have done better than even my neu-energy packs.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.
