Inferno GT2 brushless

Hey guys I need your opinions. So I'm ready to do another Inferno GT project but this time the GT2. On my GT1 I ditched the 2 speed and the mechanical brakes & just installed a single speed & let the ESC do the braking & it works flawlessly this time however I was thinking of using the RCM GT2 conversion kit which uses the 2 speed & mech brakes. What do you think is it worth it or just stick with a single speed?
