I won't tell if you don't. While you're at it, the decryption key would be nice.

Old versions of Castle Link don't support newer ESCs. So even if you had the unencrypted versions of the Link they won't recognize the ET-3S. I can't think of anyway to remove the over-voltage protection without direct access to the code. And of course if I did I wouldn't post it to a public forum...cause ya know, I like my job. :)

This forum has a fancy feature that allows you to send a 'private message' that no-one else can read

I was hoping over voltage t just turned off the BEC, but it completely shuts down the esc.

Don't make me start transplanting ICs. I have a few fried normal MMPs that would make good doners..

Assuming I would be able to obtain the SQLite encryption key, does somebody here have the knowledge to edit the unencrypted database in a proper way so that we can flash 'genuine' Castle firmware to Traxxas and HPI versions of the Castle ESCs?

Whiztrac, could you please connect your ET-3S to your castle link and make screenshots of the "About" and the "Software" Tab?

I'll just make like a tree...

...And leave this here.

Use castle link 3.4.0
