It might be pushing the amp rating. You might have better luck with cells that can handle more.

well i ready to buy some batts. now should i go with the 4000mah 3s pack from maxxamps or should i just get 8 4200ib's?

lipo good:
its lighter and might deliver more punch

the bad:
amp rating worries me
its more expensive with balancer included

ib's good:
the 4200s are cheaper
the way im going to run them i can charge them as to seperate 4 cell packs for faster charging since my charger has to out puts

ib's bad:
there heavier

what should i do?

If you don't mind the extra weight of the IB4200s, then get those. I think it would be best to stay on the safe side and not risk pushing the Maxamps 3s 4000mah pack to its limit.

How come you didn't think of that before?:005:
Should have more steering like that anyway with a little more weight up front.
Are those gladiator 2s? my favourite tyres, they work everywhere.

any buddy have a hyperion lba6 balancer? right now ive got the pack hooked up to the balancer and the balancer on the charger, charging the pack but for some reason cell 1 and 3 are blinking red rapidly and every now and then cell 2 will blink green what does that mean? when i had the pack hooked up to the balancer off the charger it indicated that the cells were balanced but why are only cell 1 and 3 blinking red when charging :032:

well got it all balanced out charged it up but my charger errors at about 12.4 volts i dont know why maby because the balancer it cutting the voltage to the pack :032: but drove it for about 5 min maby need to glue my front tire on i know that would come zinging of at 1/4 power. oh and BELTS SUCK:mad:1 just shredded my rear belt on the first hit of about 3/4 throttle and flipped the truck over lmao this thing is crazy :004:

What charger are you using? I use a LBA6 clone, the Great Planes Equinox.

That's odd. How do you have the balancer/battery/charger wired up?
