Good point.. For my conversion i dont need bents so i could actually use a CF chassis. that would look sexy with the CF trays.. Holy cow.. And i was trying my best to keep it a low cost conversion...

im sure its the same thickness as stock, but i dont know about the grade of aluminum, i never bent it or anything but when i servo tab to flatten out a little for the battery tray i looked really stressed, and on the motor side it cracked alittle from the mount forcing it into position, the bottem of my mount only has a slight bend so it pulled it down some

in stock form (nitro) the chassis was great, and would work good with mikes motor mount and your conversion, but ill see if there website has a grade listing
