Thanks you for the kind words. I am liking this whole Brushless Conversion. Getting rather hooked. Sadly I have looked beyond the 1/8th stuff and got my eyes on a B/L HPI Baja. Maybe do a B/L MCD from largescalerc.com I know these guys on a personal basis. I am in the process of trying to get them to let me do a conversion on one of their MCD Baja 1000's. I do have a machine shop at my disposal, the mount I could make and all parts I could make. This is on a manual mill and lathes, it is very time consuming to do a parts like this. The re4ason I am buying a mount for the crt.5 it is only 40 bucks for a part that would take me two hours or more to machine on a manual mill. I will buy the part and use my spare time with my family :) I used to be the type that made everything myself. There is a point your time becomes valuable.

Thanks! :)

NiCad; make sure you post clear and numerous pics of that Baja conversion as you go along! I really want to do one too but my pockets are not that deep. Almost $1k just for the truck... yikes! And then the motor, controller, and batteries won't be cheap either. Hmmm, let's see: A 2215/2Y Neu motor on 12s, with a modified high voltage controller.

LOL I def do not have pocket for it myself. These guys do though and they are very into new and exciting power.plants. He tried his first Brushless on his rc18 in which we run full bodies on a carpet oval he has.

If he goes for it I will need help getting the motors and escs I will def be build help build, my cousin is involved as well. He is an ex full size dirt track racer. So we def got some talent, I feel this guy is pulling in some people and going to do something really cool for Hobby. Word of an on road track, oval, off road dirt all 1/5 scale capable on the same property. Not sure what come of all that, I do know I ran an a HPI Baja on a layout track doing some racing. He was running a stroked MCD. Also the hitch here is a local 1/8th scale track sold out do to medical reasons. He has 50 loyal racers that are willing to travel to this guys location if he builds a track to accommodate them.

Interesting things going on locally in the RC world. I like it and figured I would share a bit of what is going on around me. ;)

Later,
NiCad
