I know, I know. I can kill anything. I think I'm going to get another 1512/1.5y though. It's a beast of a little motor.

Yeah, my 1512 motor flies on only 7 A123 cells, imagine what it could do with 6s lipo's like flightpowers, they really come alive when you feed them the voltage, and don't break a sweet! This makes me want to buy some flightpowers, AAngel, do you know of a 6s lipo pack roughly 3000-4000mah range that would only droop to 3.6 volts under ~70-80 amps? The more I run my 7s pack, the more I feel the voltage dropping way too much... making it hard to get 'consistent' driving feel, and a lot less power potentially than a good lipo pack.

I had the motor shaft break loose on a Neu 1512/2.5d once as well. It happened the first time I ran the thing. Neu was really fast about getting a replacement back to me. They had me send it in to Diversty Model Aircraft and they had a repaired/replaced one back to me in a few days. I never did find out if they replaced it or fixed it, but either way... it was all good. No problems since.

Even the best comapnies can make a dud on occation. But AAngel does seemsto be a Dud Magnet. Or just the guy who pushes stuff the hardest and finds the most weak points.

jhautz, they must love you over there. I've never gotten anything back from them in less than two weeks, plus shipping time. I sent them a motor two weeks ago, just to be checked out and haven't gotten it back yet.

AAggel, Maybe they are just sick of you "breaking" stuff and sending it in just to be checked.

Lots of busy work for them. If they just sent it back to you to quickly and told you there was nothing wrong, you wouldnt believe they did anything.

Hey, I sent my 1512 in like three weeks ago. I did call them last week just to check the status. They said they are behind right now... backed up, but didn't say exactly how long it would be.

I got the feeling that it might be 3-4 weeks for me. So I'm hoping to have some news this week sometime.

The last motor that I sent in was just for a check up. Oh well, it'll get here when it gets here. I'm just comtemplating a Neu/new motor for my Monster GT. Flip flopping between the 1515 2.5d and 1.5Y for a 5S setup.

I'd mark the broken motor with some sort of unique scratch or something before sending them for a repair so you can see if they repair or just replace the motor.

I run the same 1512 3d on a 5s enerland 4350mah pack and its plenty fast for me. For the track I only run it on 4s though.

Oh really? Cool, I wonder what it will be like on 6s Flightpowers? (Enerland)

You are probably getting the same performance as I am on 7s A123 pack.

On a track, I've found 4S to be more than adequate when running a motor of around 1700kv. I only run more voltage when I'm bashing.
