Well, on 2S 4500mah packs, I ran for about 30 minutes or so. On 3S, doing speed runs on the street I ran for about 45 minutes.

The run times are quite amazing...

Neither my battery, motor, or ESC has exceeded 100* while running. They are ICE cold...

This is with the CRT .5... the Hyper 8 belongs to MetalMan, so he'll have to answer any of those questions. But I do believe he got something like half an hour too...

I think I got about 25mins on the first pack. At that time, it was maybe 95 deg., the motor was about 145, and ESC was about 100. The Hyper 8 has never thermalled with this setup, even though the MM doesn't have a fan over it. Usually the MM runs about 130ish. Also keep in mind that SoCal is a small track, so I can't really take advantage of all that this brushless/Lipo setup can put out.

I have to say that was an ironic thing. You have your MM in an 8th scale buggy on 4S and mine was in a little extended 1/12th scale on 2S/3S and I was running a fan and you weren't...

My Hyper 8 has seen Revelation's dirt twice. Unfortunately it's about 1.5hr drive for me, and now that college is going, I don't have time to go all that way.

I actually work at Hobby People on Friday nights. But besides that, I don't think they'd let 1/8th scales race with 1/10th. Guys would probably protest it, since if we hit a 1/10 buggy, it'd be toast.

mmmm, if i know slim, i dont think he'll mind i think he'd get a kick out of it actually... plus it would be so fun to hear all the pro guys complain, especially frank root... he compained about me rubbing fenders with him with my XXX-T in Mod Truck... ooh gonna be so sweet

plus i figure socal racing would be a good warmup and test bed for when i head out to revelation or thundery alley... and i guess it could be classified as 4wd Mod buggy ^_^

I'd call it a heavily modded 4wd mod buggy .
