I just noticed this forum had some more posts.

I am very sad to hear how derogitory you guys are towards legos. I played with legos for most of my young life. I even had a subscription to the magazine they put out. I have endured many hardships though, it is difficult to have the other kids in high school make fun off you for brining your lego creations to show and tell. Maybe it was more embarrassing to find out that there is no show and tell in high school.

I would also like to say that I started smoking at the age of 4 and if it was not for the positive support my legos gave me I may never had been able to quit smoking and move on to shooting up heroine. Thank you legos and God bless you.

My girl won't let me play with legos anymore... she says there's a chance I could choke on the pieces. So I buy duplo blocks now.

so... You are one of these guys?

That would probably be more appropriate for you then.. I find myself hammering the head with lego constantly, so the smaller the parts, the less i hurt myself.

The bad part is i tend to stuff my nose with the smaller pieces..

I just picked up my box of that. Going to try to stop chewing and smoking at the same time.

jesus u guys are hilarious i am not worthy like you guys. this may be my favorite thread now.
But coincidently, I smoke and need to frickin quit. I feel like an idot smoking, especially when it's 2 degrees outside and I am out there puffing a stick in front of a warm nite club where the booze and chicks are flowing. Chantix made me nauseous so I quit that. That was easy to quit. Gonna give her another round though. Munch on toothpicks while I toy with the truggy.

Good luck to all those who take the plunge.

Not Easy. - 11.17.2007, 04:24 AM

Of course we all know it is never easy to give up something that you have been doing for such a long time and that also gives you some kind of stimulation. We all wish you the best of luck, but the kicker is in your peace or mind. If you truly want to kick this demons butt, it has to come from the heart. Knowing that you really want to get out of jail with the smokes that are trying to keep you there. Just refuse to let something so damaging and wasteful beat your ass. Giving up two demons at once is really going to be some challenge. I have a friend who bought a couple boxes of plastic straws (cheap) and he chews on them for relief. It's kind of funny because when I visit with him I see chewed up straws all over the place, but after a year the smell in his environment has all but lost that terrible cigarette odors. He say he can really taste his food for the first time in over thirty years, and his sense of smell has become extremely sensitive. So find yourself something that will keep you busy enough not to want to smoke, and not damage your own environment. So Good luck Dude.

My dad decided to quit. He smoked for 30 some years.
He place the pack he had in his pocket on the tv. He looked at them every day until some one else smoked them up.
He hasn't looked back sense. Good luck to you.

PS Don't forget the throw the nitro out to.

Peace!
